Formed in 1998, Lucas Racing is now one of the UK's most successful kart teams and for the past 5 years the exclusive distributor of MS Karts in the UK. Based in Oldham the team has focussed on the UK 4-stroke classes, with multiple championship wins in both the Honda Challenge and the current ABKC Super 2 National Championship. This year, 2003, Lucas Racing's Liam Clifford driving an MS Kart RA008 / SA250 Biland won the Libre Class. Brother Jake Clifford won with Honda Junior Class, with Matt Pritchard 3rd, Chris Archer 5th, Linda Playfair 7th, Ross Minty 8th , Robert Gilford 10th and Chris Minty 11th , whilst Howard Lucas himself led the MS Kart teams which finished 2nd, 3rd and 9th at the Le Mans 24hr race.
